Hello! My name is Goldie Lahr, I am a singer/songwriter and full-time musician based in Pensacola, FL.
My heart is providing comfort and entertainment through singing.
I grew up near Ft. Worth Texas and spent many years in Central Oklahoma. I often travel the US singing and sharing my songs at music festivals and events. I love writing about the places I’ve been and people’s connection to their “home,” where ever that may be.
Welcome to my site!

A few of my songs:

Cherokee was my first ever release, and still one of my favorites. it was created thanks to my Oklahoma Band Mates; Cory Perschbacher (Percussion, Keys, Engineer), Joey Albin (Slide Guitar), and Chris Volpini (Bass).

“Hello Oklahoma,” is very different from most of the songs I’ve written. I almost feel like it belongs in a musical. It was 100% written for my own therapy about a time when expectations got the best of me. (Don’t worry Oklahoma, it wasn’t your fault, I still love you).
This song was made possible by Zach Sprowels (on piano), and Cory Perschbacher (percussion and engineering).

“Baton Rouge” was always a band favorite to play. This is a love story between a woman and her roots, and the man that loved her.
The love story was inspired by my neighbors I had while living on the bayous near Pensacola, FL.
